Piarco, 19 January 2012 - Caribbean Airlines is happy to announce the start of non-stop daily flights to George F. L. Charles International Airport, Castries, St. Lucia from 10 February 2012. The daily flights will operate as BW434, departing Port of Spain, Trinidad at 1:45pm and arriving into St Lucia at 2:50pm and BW435 departing St Lucia at 3:25pm, arriving into Port of Spain, Trinidad at 4:30pm.

Police are investigating the circumstances into the hanging death of an inmate at Her Majesty’s Prison, Richmond Hill, St. George.
39 year old Joel Lendore of L’Esterre, Carriacou was reportedly discovered just before 07:00 a.m. on Sunday 29th January, 2012 hanging in his cell with a piece of cord tied around his neck.
He was pronounced dead on examination by the attending Doctor.

Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of St. David’s police Station are investigating a domestic incident, which left two persons hospitalized and a dwelling house completely destroyed by fire.
